Beyond Our Client Work
Plant Protection & Farmer Support
Alongside our software practice, ITShifts runs a plant protection programme in District Charsadda, working directly with farmers and landowners. We help them raise Populus alba — the white poplar — in protected environments, where young stock is shielded during the years it is most likely to fail.
We also help growers protect their standing trees and crops from pest damage, and from the harm caused by heavy or poorly timed pesticide use. The programme is organised and funded by ITShifts, and there is no charge for the farmers who take part.
